Samir is a California Registered Professional Civil Engineer. He had his civil engineering and construction management education in:

- University of Alexandria, Egypt
He founded C M Pros, a very successful construction management firm headquartered in San Francisco, where he supports the City in delivering major projects from 1999 to the present. Some of his most notable projects are:
- Zuckerberg General Hospital Reconstruction ($850M)
- San Francisco Airport Terminal 1 Boarding Area B ($750M)
- San Francisco Public Utilities Water System Improvement Program ($4.5B)
- Public Safety Building ($200M)
Samir also established the general contractor Carmel Engineering to provide design build services for custom homes in Monterey County. He has completed several successful projects and continues to build luxurious custom homes.
