
The 34 acres lot is heavily covered with Oak, Pine, and Redwood trees. San Clemente Creek runs around the three sides of the building envelope providing special scenic views and privacy. The property is considered part-time equestrian. We finished the programing and the conceptual design of a modern Hacienda style one story 5000 SF house. The house will blend nicely with the classic tree canopies. The design included a separate guest house (ADU) and a prefabricated small barn.

The 8 acres lot has a gentle slope with Oak trees lined up the parameter of the building envelop. The modern style house will include 3 car garage, 3 bedrooms, and open living space for the living room dining and kitchen area. Special focus is planned to capitalize on the incredible 360 view of the rolling hills and the distant mountains.

The lot backs up to the legendary redwood grove. Special consideration to the modern 5500 SF house outlines to complement the surrounding beauty of the redwood grove. The master bedroom is oriented to face San Clemente Creek to enjoy the soothing natural music of the flowing water in the creek.

The house was originally a small 1300 SF log cabin, and it was reconstructed back to a three-story 5200 SF house with Mediterranean style especially for elements such as balconies and giant windows to maximize the view as the house is set on a high ridge. The original cabin feel was implemented in the exterior design for the kitchen and the soaring ceiling of the living room. The cathedral look of the matching exposed round wooden columns brought warmth and an elegant earthy touch to the open space.

The existing Spanish ranchette can easily capture your heart with its North Monterey County rolling hills views. The project included adding 4 horse stalls, constructing the ground floor, and improving the main floor circulation and flow. It also included upgrading all the finishes and restoring the swimming pool.

The original property was 2200 SF single story simple California Ranch style. and it was converted to a 6500 SF California Hacienda. Balconies and wrap around decks were added to enhance the design with a warm Mediterranean outdoor feel.

The barn style rural house received a full restoration, and we added a new entrance to improve the curb appeal. Balconies were added on the second floor to maximize the use of the rural view.
